This notice only covers the PULSE Sales Intelligence (PSI) forms. It does not describe or change any other processing by Peaceful Consulting USA LLC.

What we collect

  • Information request: first name, last name, email, organization or business, country, preferred language, client type, and, if you provide them, the topic and your message.
  • Demo notification: email and preferred language; first name and client type if you provide them.
  • Quote or study request: the information request fields, the offer you are considering, target markets, your current tracking tool, and, if you provide them, the preferred model, your data constraints and your message.
  • For every request: the date, the page language, the version of this notice, your choice about marketing communications and, where applicable, a campaign link source code.
  • Your assessment summary, only if you tick the box provided for it.

Your IP address and browser are not stored with the request. The server's access logs do not keep your IP address either. Only the server's error log may record it, when a request is refused (too many submissions, for example) or cannot be processed; this log is kept for 7 days at most. The PSI service's technical logs contain no name, email address or IP address.

Free assessment

The assessment is worked out in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us. Only a summary of up to 400 characters (profile, level, priorities, suggested offer and model) can be attached to a request, and only if you choose to.

Why we use this information

  • To answer your request and, if you wish, prepare a proposal.
  • To write to you once when the demo is available, if you asked for it.
  • To send you news about PSI, only if you ticked the optional box for it. You can withdraw this consent at any time without affecting your request.

Basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering a business request; your consent for marketing communications. The acknowledgement box confirms you have read this notice: it does not mean you agree to receive marketing emails. Your information is not added to any automated email sequence.

Who receives your information

  • Peaceful Consulting USA LLC, to handle your request. Your information is never sold or rented.
  • Hostinger, our hosting provider, which supplies the server the PSI service runs on. Its role is technical: it acts as a hosting provider under its terms of service, not for its own business purposes.
  • GitHub, Inc. (United States), which keeps a copy of our backups outside this server. This copy is encrypted before it leaves the server; the decryption key is not given to GitHub.
  • A government or judicial authority, only where the law requires us to.

Transfers outside your country

Peaceful Consulting USA LLC is based in the United States, so your information is processed there, and it may also be processed in other countries where our providers operate. Traffic to the PSI pages and backup copies are encrypted.

Audience measurement

No advertising cookies or third-party analytics tools are used on PSI pages. A campaign link source code is kept in your browser for the life of the tab (session storage, key psi_src) and is only sent to us if you submit a form.

Security

Traffic to the PSI pages is encrypted (HTTPS). Requests are stored in a database dedicated to PSI, kept apart from Peaceful Consulting USA's other activities. Only the controller accesses it to handle requests. Backups are encrypted.

Retention

  • Requests: 12 months after the last exchange, then deleted. If a contract is signed, the relevant information then falls under that contract.
  • Detailed audience data: 30 days. After that, only daily counts with no personal data are kept, for 25 months at most.
  • Encrypted backups: 30 days on our server. The external copy is replaced every day with the backups of the last 30 days. Replaced versions may remain at GitHub for some time, still encrypted, until that provider erases them.

Your rights

Depending on the rules that apply to you, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict its use or receive a copy of it, and you can object to its use. You can withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time. Write to legal@peacefulconsultingusa.com with "PSI" in the subject line. We reply within the time limits set by the applicable rules and may ask you to confirm your identity. Where those rules provide for it, you can also file a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

Any change to this notice is published on this page with its new date. The version you accepted is recorded with each request.
